Evelyn was interviewed by her daughter Ardith and shared many memories of growing up near Loleta, Ca. and attending the Sherman Indian boarding school in Riverside, Ca. Irene shared her memories of growing up in Bucksport, which is now southern Eureka. She also spoke of her time as a member of the United Indian Health Services Board of Directors. Irene was featured on the Living Biographies series in August of 2000.
